A Prints of Hope mission moment with a community

Who we are

About Prints of Hope

Also known as Dejando Huellas — leaving footprints of hope in underserved communities around the world since the year 2000.

Abdiel Sosa, founder of Prints of Hope

How it began

It all began with one impossible decision.

"After seeing the need — how much children and families suffer — it was just impossible to come back and do nothing about it. But how could I start an organization with no money, still finishing my master's degree, and no experience in the non-profit world?

The one thing I learned very quickly was to depend solely on God. He took care of the rest. Over 24 years later, He is still in control."

Mission & purpose

Humanitarian aid, powered by faith.

The purpose of Prints of Hope is to provide humanitarian aid — through education, medical care, and basic needs — for underprivileged individuals around the world. Established in 2000 by Abdiel Sosa, Prints of Hope has impacted the lives of children and families across more than a dozen countries by sharing the love of Jesus Christ.

Millions of children die each year from diseases that could be prevented by one essential need: proper clothing. Walking barefoot or with an uncovered body gives bacteria easier access. We provide new clothing, medical treatment, and education for whole families and communities.

Leadership

The people behind the mission.

A small team carrying the work forward, year after year.

Faith & values

We don't do projects. We do missions.

Prints of Hope is grounded in faith expressed through action — being the hands and feet of Jesus for people in need, with dignity, humility, and respect for each community we visit. We uplift people to be the best they can be while trusting in God.

Accountability

Generosity deserves evidence.

Financial documents, program updates, and donor policies should be easy to find and written in plain language. These are being prepared for publication.
